  • Real iron-ore stone

Genuine hematite, not dyed glass or moulded resin. Cool to the touch, metallic in the light, and every bead slightly different because it was cut from rock.

  • [30]g of real weight

Hematite is roughly 70% iron. It's noticeably heavier than agate, onyx or lava stone — which is exactly why you can feel it on your wrist all day.

  • Mirror-black polish

Hand-polished to a gunmetal sheen no other stone produces. It reads as metal until you pick it up and feel the cool of stone.

  • Goes with everything

Black is quiet. Wear it alone, stacked beside a watch, or under a shirt cuff. It doesn't announce itself in a meeting.

Named After Blood

Hematite takes its name from haima — the Greek word for blood. Grind the black stone down and it bleeds deep red. That colour made it one of the oldest pigments humans ever used.

The Egyptians carved it into amulets and buried it with their dead. Mesopotamian craftsmen cut it into cylinder seals — the signature of a man who owned something worth signing for. It was chosen because it was hard, heavy, and took a polish nothing else could match.

Most "Hematite" Bracelets Aren't Hematite

Search the marketplaces and you'll find hundreds of black beaded bracelets, all promising ancient power. Pick one up and you'll find:

Dyed glass. Light as a feather. The colour sits on the surface and wears off the edges within a month.

Resin and plastic. Warm to the touch instead of cool. Scratches if you look at it wrong.

Reconstituted powder. Ground-up stone glued back together — sold as hematite because it technically once was.

Questions About Meridian™

Will it fit my wrist?

It's strung on stretch elastic — no clasp, it slides over your hand. Fits wrists [X]–[Y] cm. To measure: wrap a strip of paper around your wrist, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler. [CONFIRM RANGE WITH SUPPLIER]

Is it genuine hematite?

[CONFIRM WITH SUPPLIER AND STATE PLAINLY: natural hematite or reconstituted. Do not guess.] Each bead is cut and polished from natural stone, so you'll see slight variation in tone and grain across the strand. That variation is how you know it wasn't moulded.

Is it magnetic?

[CONFIRM WITH SUPPLIER. Natural hematite is only weakly magnetic; strongly magnetic beads are reconstituted "magnetic hematite." State which yours is — buyers test this with a fridge magnet, and being caught out here damages trust more than anything else on this page.]

Does it have health benefits?

Hematite has been worn as a talisman for thousands of years, and plenty of people wear one today as a daily reminder or intention. We won't tell you it does anything to your body — there's no evidence for that, and we'd rather sell you a good bracelet honestly.

How do I look after it?

Keep it dry. Take it off before showering, swimming, or the gym — hematite can dull or spot with prolonged moisture. Perfume and lotion first, bracelet after. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth to bring the shine back, and store it flat rather than hanging so the cord holds its shape.

What if the cord breaks?

The cord is [double-strung] to make that far less likely. If it fails within [90 days] of normal wear, message us and we'll replace it. [CONFIRM YOU CAN HONOUR THIS BEFORE PUBLISHING]

How long does shipping take, and can I return it?

Dispatched within [X] business days, typically arriving in 5–12 days with tracking sent to your email. If it isn't right for you, you have 30 days from delivery to return it. [MATCH EXACTLY TO YOUR PUBLISHED SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY]
